Dentistry – S.K.G.

Universitas Padjadjaran’s Faculty of Dentistry offers an undergraduate study program in Dentistry. Graduates of this program will attain the Sarjana Kedokteran Gigi (S.K.G.) title. The program has received the highest accreditation possible, an A, from the national body of higher education accreditation in Indonesia, the BAN-PT. The duration of the study is 8 semesters. The program is taught at the Jatinangor Campus in Sumedang.

Unpad’s undergraduate program in Dentistry is taught using a block system, wherein courses are grouped and integrated in blocks covering different topics, which include:

  1. LSIT (Learning skills and IT),
  2. BHBP (Bioethics and Human Behavior Program),
  3. BMSP (Basic Medical Science Program),
  4. DSP (Dental Science Program),
  5. DCoHP (Dental Comunity Health Program), 
  6. DRP (Dental Research Program)
  7. Electives.

The program focuses its students to fully grasp the sciences of medicine and dentistry in a way that is comprehensive and applicable with clinical practices in those fields, which they will encounter in clinical case studies, honing their complete understanding of the subjects taught.
