Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia Signed Cooperation Charter with Unpad

“I am grateful. This is a cooperation that is essential for Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia,” said Dr. Dino.

Dr. Dino said FPCI is working to bridge meeting between officials, diplomats, researchers, and academics. The meeting was conducted through a number of scientific seminars.

Additionally, the community wanted also created a network of faculty, which in one to two times a year going dialogue with the Minister of Foreign Affairs. With this meeting, the lecturers will receive a variety of information in the field, and the academics can provide input to the policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In response, Rector committed that Unpad will also facilitate various meetings, including the provision and administration of research grants. Rector also believed that an important role of university campuses is not only give you an idea, but also to bridge these ideas to be implemented.

Rector also considered it important to be the meeting between Foreign Ministry with the academic world. Speaking about foreign policy interests was not just the exclusive affairs of the Faculty of Social Science and political. There is need for the involvement of a wide range of other scientific fields.

“Now with the complexity of the problem, transdisciplinary approach is vital,” said Rector.

Before the signing, FPCI presented a lecture on diplomacy to students in Bale Rumawat Unpad, Jln. Dipati Ukur 35 Bandung. *
