[Unpad.ac.id, 8/09/2016] Universitas Padjadjaran signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia on Scholarship Program. The agreement was signed by the Rector, Prof.Tri Hanggono Achmad, and the Secretary General of the Ministry, Didik Suhardi, PhD in Executive Lounge Unpad, Jln. Dipati Ukur, 35 Bandung, Wednesday (7/09) night.
“This synergy must be initiated fully because initially we were born from the same house. This is not just cooperation, in our terms, it is interdependence or mutual dependence. So, this synergy is a necessity, “said Rector.
Furthermore, the Rector said, synergy is done to develop better human resources but that is not the only goal, rather how this human resource development should have a strong relevance to the challenges.
Meanwhile the Secretary General said, to the era of the better service we must prepare human resources excellence. In addition, the program should also be encouraged for the affirmation of human resources in developing regions.
“If they have to compete on a regular basis, it will be more difficult for them to succeed. For that we need an affirmation program. Hopefully with this MoU, Unpad could also pay more attention to affirmative program for them, “said the Secretary General, responded positively by the Rector.
On the same occasion, Unpad and the Ministry also signed Charter of Cooperation, particularly between the Faculty of Economics & Business with the Ministry’s Planning and International Cooperation Office signed by Vice Dean of FEB Unpad, Mohamad Fahmi, SE., MT., PhD., and Head of Planning and International Cooperation of the Ministry, Ir. Suhari, MA., PhD.
After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Charter of Cooperation, the Secretary General gave a public lecture for students of the doctoral program in Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business Unpad in the Multipurpose Room 3rd Floor, Unpad Jln. Dipati Ukur 35 Bandung. *
