[Unpad.ac.id, 20/04/2016] In 61st commemoration of Asian-African Conference (KAA), representatives of Unpad foreign students held a parade along Jalan Asia Afrika and Jalan Cikapundung Timur Bandung, Sunday, April 17, 2016.

Representatives of foreign students Unpad during the parade of commemoration of Asian-African Conference in Gedung Merdeka Bandung, Sunday (17/04).*

Parade that was held as opening series of KAA commemoration was attended by several participants, including representatives of foreign students from several universities in Bandung. Unpad participants consisted of foreign students from Developing Countries Partnership Program (KNB), Scholarship, Darmasiswa RI, Unpad Scholarship, student exchanges and other programs.

The students were from Asian countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Bangladesh, India, Palestine, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, China, South Korea, Vietnam and Japan, as well as from African region, namely from Sudan, Madagascar, and Tanzania. On this event , also participating were students from from European countries, namely Russia, Kazakhstan and Germany.

The majority of foreign students are currently attending classes in Indonesian Language and Culture Language Center, Universitas Padjadjaran, as a preparation program before they attend masters and doctorate program at Universitas Padjadjaran.*
