[Unpad Media Channel] 14 new Professors of Universitas Padjadjaran were appointed in the Appointment Ceremony and Academic Oration for the Professorship, which was held at Grha Sanusi Hardjadinata Unpad, Iwa Koesoemasoemantri Campus, Bandung, Tuesday (6/2/2024).
The ceremony, which was opened by the Chair of the Academic Senate of Unpad, Prof. Ganjar Kurnia, and led by the Chair of the Board of Professors of Unpad, Prof. Arief Anshory Yusuf, was organized in four sessions.
On the first day, the first session of appointment and academic oration was undertaken by four new Professors from the Faculty of Medicine, namely Prof. Dr. Hikmat Permana, dr. SpPD-KEMD, in the field of Internal Medicine; Prof. Dr. Arto Yuwono Soeroto, dr., SpPD-KP., in the field of Internal Medicine/Pulmonology; Prof. Hendra Gunawan, dr., SpKK(K), PhD., in the field of Tropical Dermatology; and Prof. Dr. Susi Susanah, dr., SpA(K), M.Kes., in the field of Paediatrics.
In the second session, the appointment and academic oration was undertaken by three new Professors from the Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Medicine, namely Prof. Dr. Amaliya, drg., PhD., in the field of Periodontology; Prof. Dr. Dewi Marhaeni Diah Herawati, drg., M.Si., in the field of Health Administration and Policy Sciences; and Prof. Dr. Deni Kurniadi Sunjaya, dr., DESS., in the field of Health Administration and Policy Sciences.
On the second day, the first session of appointment and academic oration was undertaken by new Professors from the Faculty of Pharmacy, namely Prof. Dr. Apt. Tiana Milanda, M.Si., in the field of Pharmaceutical Biology; Prof. Dr. apt. Iyan Sopyan, M.Si., in the field of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology; Prof. Dr. apt. Ida Musfiroh, M.Si., in the field of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Medicinal Chemistry; and Prof. Dr. apt. Sriwidodo, M.Si., in the field of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology.
Moreover, in the second session, the appointment and academic oration were undertaken by three new Professors from the Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Animal Husbandry, namely Prof. Dr Yayan Sumekar, M.Si., in the field of Herbicide Persistence, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Ir. Suseno Amien in the field of In Vitro Plant Breeding; and Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Darojah, M.S., in the field of Biotechnology. (arm/SA)*
