[Unpad Media Channel] A product invented by Universitas Padjadjaran researchers, Efi Propolis, was showcased at the InnovFest x Elevating Founders fair held by NUS Enterprises at the Singapore Expo in Singapore on May 28-31.
Efi Propolis was one of 250 startups showcasing their various technological and innovative products and services at the fair with the motto “Driving Innovation, Nurturing Talents: Creating Impact for Asia”.
As for InnovFest 2024, the event’s goal was to help open up the various startup ecosystems throughout Asia and the world, as well as providing a spotlight for new technology and promising ideas.
With a focus on startup development and being a catalyst for entrepreneurship in the area, the fair provided exclusive access for tech startups to investors and the business market. InnovFest 2024 also presented its participants and visitors with the latest trends and insights in innovation.
In a release received by Unpad Media Channel, Efi Propolis, which was managed by Unpad researcher Felix Zulhendri, Ph.D., was showcased at the event to act as a representative of the resulting innovations from the collaboration between industry and academic research institutions.
Efi Propolis was a result of research done by Unpad in an effort to develop natural products which benefit public health and welfare.
“I thank Unpad for being such a good hub for me, as well as providing the opportunities to connect with the world on a global level,” said Felix.
Felix also expressed his appreciation for the collaboration that has been carried out between One way in which it manifested is with the inclusion of Unpad products in such events as InnovFest 2024, so it could be exposed to startup businesses globally, as well as the various visitors present.
Felix added that Efi Propolis’ participation at InnovFest 2024 was not only a chance to expand his connection and knowledge on the latest industry trends, but also to introduce innovative products from Indonesia to the global market.
“Efi Propolis, as a product of collaboration with Unpad, could be introduced to the international market through this, one of the biggest events in Asia. In the end, Unpad would realize its vision to be not only a beneficial university, but also a global one,” Felix concluded. (release/ICP)*
