Grab Invites Students and Alumni of Unpad to Join the CFO Graduate Program

[Unpad Media Channel] Universitas Padjadjaran, through the Career Development Center along with Grab Indonesia, conducted a “Grab Campus Talk” event titled “Discover Your Career Potential: Unlocking the Sweet Spot between Finance & Technology” at Bale Sawala Unpad Rectorate Building. Jatinangor. Monday (29/4/2024).

In his speech, the Director of Student Affairs and Alumni Relations from Unpad, Dr. Boy Yoseph Cahya Sunan Sakti Syah Alam, said that the event of “Grab Campus Talk” was a good opportunity for students and alumni of Unpad in the form a chance to work and do an internship in the company. This event is organized as a part of the Unpad Job Fair event, which will be held on May, 21st – 22nd and will strengthen the career preparation for future Unpad graduates.

Boy stated his hope for the participants to seize the valuable opportunities. Moreover, Unpad and Grab can establish a deeper cooperation.

“Hopefully, in the future, there will be a detailed cooperation related to the potentials in Universitas Padjadjaran,” said Boy.

Furthermore, Boy mentioned that the youth generation, especially those who came to the event, could be a future pioneer through fresh innovations and creativity. Unpad and Grab can also synergize to invent innovations.

“I expect all fellows to be pioneers in the future with the innovation and basic knowledge that you have. We also hope that all colleagues from Grab can continue to synergize for cooperation and bring new innovation and creations,” said Boy.

On that opportunity, CFO of Grab Indonesia Dion Soetadi explained about a program by Grab, the CFO Graduate Program. Dion said that the program, which could be joined for two years, was a good opportunity for students and alumni who wanted to start their careers in the field of business and finance.

“I feel that this is a good program for finance, (for those) who want to enter the field of technology. Because we have built this program that focuses on how after the next two years, (they) can be (people in) finance who have broad knowledge,” explained Dion. (art/SA)*
