[Unpad Media Channel] Universitas Padjadjaran collaborates with PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia or InJourney through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the collaboration in the field of education, research, and community service.

The signing of the MoU is done by the Rector of Universitas Padjadjaran Prof. Rina Indiastuti along with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia Dony Oskaria. The MoU signing event was held online on Thursday (28/3/2024). It is also witnessed by the Chair of the Board of Trustees Arief Yahya.

In her speech, the Rector said that besides the degree education program, recently, Unpad also offered a non-degree education program where the delivery of learning materials was done online or a combination of face-to-face and online (hybrid). Therefore, the Rector conveys his gratitude to InJourney for their support regarding the education innovation development that is done hybrid at Unpad.

The Rector hopes that the development of non-degree education with hybrid university-based will give wide-ranging benefits to society. The presence of hybrid education will expand the reach of the general public in accessing knowledge delivered by professional instructors.

“Hopefully, the impact of all this is not only to educate the nation but also to ensure that all segments of society continuously update their knowledge and skills through lifelong learning, whether it is through a degree or non-degree program,” said the Rector.

The CEO of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia Dony Oskaria mentions that the established collaboration between Unpad and InJourney is a good collaboration aimed at developing human resources within the InJourney Group environment.

Dony hopes that this collaboration can enhance the human resources quality to achieve Indonesia’s economic aspirations in the tourism sector which is expected to be much better in the future.

Dony also states that InJourney opens collaboration opportunities in every form to improve the students’ quality in the Unpad environment. Dony said that the collaboration could be in the form of collaboration in curriculum development, providing practice venues for students, and sending professionals to share knowledge.

“We are also ready to send some professionals who are available in InJourney’s scope for sharing knowledge or in any form to enhance the quality of Indonesia’s human resources in the future,” he explained. (art/SA)*
