Unpad Wins Seven Awards at the 2023 Anugerah Diktiristek Award

[Unpad Media Channel] Universitas Padjadjaran won several awards at the 2023 Anugerah Diktiristek Award which was held by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, South Jakarta, Wednesday night (13/12/2023).

In the event, Unpad received several awards in four categories: National Priority Award, Collaboration Award, Learning and Student Affairs Award, and Public Relations Award.

In the National Priority Award category, Unpad received recognition in the Health Independence field, specifically in the Therapy/Cosmetics sub-category. The award was received by the Professor of the Faculty of Pharmacy from Unpad, Prof. Dr. apt. Sriwidodo, M.Si.

For the Collaboration Award, Unpad received Bronze Winner for a sub-category of The Best Collaboration Report. On Learning and Student Affairs Award, Unpad received two awards, namely in the Independent Student Exchange (Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka) category, specifically in a subcategory of the Most Recipients of Independent Student Exchange, and in the Independent Entrepreneurship category, specifically in a sub-category of Higher Education Institutions with the Highest Number of Participant Institutions.

Moreover, on the Public Relations Award, Unpad received on Legal-Entity Higher Education Institution (PTN Badan Hukum), namely Gold Winner in a sub-category of Website, Gold Winner in a sub-category of Integrated Service Unit (Unit Layanan Terpadu), and Bonze Winner in a sub-category of Magazine. In total, Unpad won seven awards in that event.

Vice Rector for Planning and Organization from Unpad, Prof. Yanyan M. Yani, M.AIR., PhD, appreciated the achievement of seven awards at the 2023 Diktiristek Awards. These achievements prove that Unpad’s performance was getting better.

“Furthermore, we have some new categories which won the awards, this indicates that we are on the right track towards reaching the top 500 best universities in the world,” he said.
In the near future, Unpad will continuously improve award achievements by optimizing several areas that have not been explored. One of them is improving the engagement of professors and students on three pillars of higher education (tridarma).

Besides Prof. Yanyang, the delegation of Unpad was also attended by the Director of Governance, Legal, and Communication, Prof. Dr. Isis Ikhwansyah, Director of Innovation and Corporation, Prof. Dr. Tomy Perdana, and the Head of Public Communications Office, Dandi Supriadi, PhD. (arm/SA)*
