[Unpad Media Channel] The Rector of Universitas Padjadjaran handed over the Letter of Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the Academic/Functional Promotion of Professors to eight new Professors at Universitas Padjadjaran held at the Executive Lounge room, Unpad Rectorate Building, Jatinangor, Tuesday (5/12/2023).
“Due to the new professorships, the total of Professors at Unpad is 253,” said the Rector.
On that occasion, the Rector appreciated every academic work completed by the new Professors. It was expected that the new professors would maintain the quality and number of their literary works.
As academic leaders, the professors also hoped to supervise other instructors becoming professors.
Moreover, the Rector encouraged Professors to increase the Unpad reputation at the international level and influenced the society. The reputation was proven by quality, excellence, and what they did to benefit the community. The increase of Unpad’s importance was also confirmed by the quality of graduates, not only by academics but also by the characters.
“Professors are demanded to assure the quality of our graduates,” added the Rector.
The new Professors were:
1. Prof. Dr. Dian Wardiana Sjuchro, M.Si in the field of Communication Sciences
2. Prof. Dr. dr. Deni Kurniadi Sunjaya, DESS. in the field of Health Administration and Policy.
3. Prof. Dr. Agr. Ir. Raden Siti Darodjah, M.S in the field of Biotechnology in Animal Production
4. Prof. Dr. dr. Susi Susanah, Sp.A(K)., M.Kes. in the field of Pediatric Health
5. Prof. dr. Bachti Alisjahbana, Sp.PD-KPTI., Ph.D. in the field of Internal Medicine
6. Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Ir. Suseno Amien in the field of In Vitro Breeding
7. Prof. Dr. R. Ira Irawati, M.Si. in the field of Public Management
8. Prof. Auliya Abdurrohim Suwantika, S.Si., Apt., Ph.D. P in the field of pharmacoeconomics. (art/SA)*
