“Hopefully everyone can build new friendships, new networks, particularly also in Unpad,” said Parikesit to the participants.

Furthermore Parikesit said that this is the first summer program of activities implemented in centralized management at the university. A similar program implemented directly at the faculty level.

In a joint summer activities program at Universitas Padjadjaran, participants will follow lectures on Arts, Culture, and Languages from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences and Entrepreneurship and Creative Industries from the Faculty of Economics and Business. Activities in Unpad will be carried out for 7 days, and they continue in IPB for 3 days to explore the material on agripreneurship.

“For next year, we will try to add activities, involving also other faculties,” said Parikesit.

In addition to attending the subjects, the participants will also be introduced to academic activities in Unpad. This activity can also attract more foreign students to follow a similar program at Universitas Padjadjaran, so as to increase the number of inbound foreign exchange students to Unpad, which is one of the parameters of ranking world class university ratings.

“This is to strengthen the internationalization of Universitas Padjadjaran, as well as to internationalize Unpad students, since their interaction with foreign students they would have opportunity to network,” said Parikesit.*
