[Unpad.ac.id, 14/06/2016] To sharpen the English skills of Unpad administrative staffs, Universitas Padjadjaran, through Directorate of Human Resources, held free English training. Placement Test for participants of Batch I was held in Bale Sawala, Rectorate Jatinangor Building, Monday (13/06).
Director of Human Resources, Diana Sari, S.E., M.Mgt., Ph.D. revealed that this event was held as part of the preparation for University Padjadjaran regional competitiveness in 2017-2021 period (one of Unpad grand strategies), while also addressing the implementation of ASEAN Economic Community.
“We must be prepared, not only of facility and infrastructure, but most importantly, the human resources,” said Diana in her office.
In addition to improve service excellence for stakeholders, the training was also conducted to measure the staff ability and provide knowledge to enable them to actively undertake international activities.
For Batch I, there were 103 participants from various work units and faculties in Unpad. This training program would take 10 weeks on campus Jatinangor; the focus is on English material to the business office.
In addition to improve English skills, training is also expected to boost confidence, as well as creative and innovative spirit of the participants. “Hopefully this would improve the work performance at the end,” said Diana. *
