[Unpad.ac.id, 22/06/2016] Universitas Padjadjaran signed Charter of Cooperation with Regency Govt of Halmahera Utara, North Maluku province in human resources development. Signing the charter were Rector Unpad, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad and Regent of Halmahera Utara, Ir. Frans Manery in Rector Room, Rectorate Building Unpad campus Jatinangor, Wednesday (22/06).
During the signing, Frans said that the feasible cooperation are, among others, in relation to contract workers recruitment, as Unpad is expected to be involved in the selection process. In addition, cooperation should also be conducted to increase the capacity of community and government officials in the region.
“We believe Unpad has the ability. We also very much hope for inputs and suggestions in order for reformation to occur, especially in building the capacity of the community and its institutions, “said Frans.
Rector also welcomed this cooperation. According to him, in order to improve performance and devotion to the nation, one must be built strong cooperation with various parties.
Additionally, Unpad wanted to develop a more independent regional capacity to also encourage participation of a number of colleges in the surrounding area. “Obviously, we would encourage for the quality to be similar to what we could do here. These are our strong strategies, “he said. *
