[Unpad.ac.id, 20/06/2016] Universitas Padjadjaran established cooperation with Financial Education and Training Agency of Ministry of Finance RI in development, education, research, and community engagement in field of state finances. This cooperation was marked by signing agreement by Rector Unpad, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad, and Head of Financial Education and Training Agency of Ministry of Finance, Sumiyati, Ak. M.F.M at Executive Lounge Unpad, Jln. Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung, Monday (20/06).
“Hopefully this cooperation could provide us with stronger joint programs stronger,” said Sumiyati.
With this cooperation, Sumiyati expected the better education quality and research. The research outcomes are also expected to contribute to the improvement of government policy in the field of state finances, as well as to the development of the field of knowledge itself.
In the field of education, Sumiyati also revealed that this cooperation would provide education on state finances. She also hoped that a college education not only taught theories or concepts that apply internationally, but also about the system and regulations are implemented in Indonesia.
“It is our hope that by the time the students graduate, they would have already understood various aspects of state finances,” she said.
Meanwhile, Rector expressed his appreciation for this cooperation. He acknowledged that the cooperation in the financial sector should involve various sectors, including field of science. In Unpad, Pentahelix synergies have been developed as part of building a multi-sector partnership.
Cooperation related to finance are expected not only performed at Faculty of Economics and Business, but also with other sciences which are associated with finance. “We shall develop this comprehensively,” said Rector.*
