[Unpad.ac.id, 12/04/2016] Universitas Padjadjaran has established partnership with Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). The partnership was implemented through signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Unpad and QMUL at Executive Lounge Unpad, Jalan Dipati Ukur No. 35, Bandung, Tuesday (12/04).
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Vice Rector of Research, Community Service, Partnership, Innovation, and Business Unpad Dr. Keri Lestari, M.Si., Apt., and Vice Principal (International) QMUL Prof. David Sadler, with Director of Partnership Unpad Parikesit, PhD and Head of International QMUL Lee Wildman in attendance. Also attending the event were Head of Unpad International Office Rizky Abdullah, PhD., and Coordinator of World Class University Unpad Ronny Lesmana, PhD.
In her speech, Keri mentioned many forms of partnerships could be done between Unpad and QMUL, ranging from joint research development and Unpad and QMUL student exchange. This partnership is in line with implementation of Academic Recharging initiated by Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education.
“In relation with this program, the Ministry has been establishing many partnerships with various university around the world,” said Dr. Keri.
At the moment, QMUL would organize Summer Program and accepting all students from many countries including Indonesia to study and live in QMUL campus.
Two activities in the Summer Program are Shakespeare: Performance and Practice program on 3 July-11 August and International Relations Summer School on 3-29 Juli.*
