[Unpad.ac.id, 28/03/2016] As higher education state institution, Universitas Padjadjaran is committed to support filling and collection of Wealth Report for State Apparatus (LHKPN) to be held properly. Not only in terms of filling LHKPN compliance, Unpad will also provide an academic view, including through studies on the impact of how LHKPN as a form of corruption prevention.

“It is part of our efforts to support the government,” said Rector, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad during the Technical Filling Guidance of LHKPN at Bale Sawala Jatinangor, Monday (28/03).

Rector explained that as Legal Entities State Universities and also in the presence of Unpad Principal Scientific Patterns, Unpad is encouraged to support development. LHKPN filling must be done correctly, timely, and with academic value.

“There should be no overdue in LHKPN filling in Unpad. This will show our commitment to assist KPK. As a citizen, as a government agency, “said Rector.

Unpad’s academic view was of LHKPN implementation and impact based on data from the mandatory LHKPN data at Universitas Padjadjaran. Hopefully, Unpad could provide input for better conduct.

On the occasion, Amalia Rosanti from Directorate of LHKPN Registration and Inspection explained that LHKPN is a report of all state officials assets including their spouses’ and dependent children’ as outlined in LHKPN form specified by the Commission.

“LHKPN is not completely only with filling our own mandatory report but also our spouses’,” said Amalia.

LHKPN Fill is done before, during, and after the service period. “If we are still in the same position, it is mandatory to update LHKPN every two year,” said Amalia.

At a university, officials who are obliged to fill LHKPN are Rector/Head/Director, Dean, Vice Dean, Head of Department, Secretary Department, and Head/Coordinator of Study Program. In Unpad, Amalia mentioned, there are 378 persons who are obliged to fill LHKPN.

The goal of LHKPN filling is to increase transparency and community trust, helping the head of the institution to prevent conflicts of interest among employees, and to remind them of corruption watch.

“This LHKPN is a prevention tool to set against corruption,” said Amalia.

A number of university leaders and faculty in Unpad attended the event. In addition to Amalia, Head of Information Systems and Performance of Human Resources Bureau from Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education, Heru Sudarsono.*
