[Unpad.ac.id, 19/01/2015] The completion of School and Student Data Base (PDSS) process as one of the enrollment phases of National Selection of State Universities (SNMPTN) 2016 has been able to be accessed since Tuesday (18/01). The activity is done by the school, namely by the Principal or assigned Principal at http://pdss.snmptn.ac.id website.
Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Unpad, Dr. Arry Bainus, MA stated that that filling in PDSS must be done truthfully, lest there was manipulation of data. Preciseness is a must to avoid fatal error in filling PDSS.
“Filling the data as true as possible. There shall not be any manipulation, in terms of value and so on, “said Dr. Arry at his office on Monday (18/01).
Furthermore, on the same webpage, students are to verify the uploaded value. This completion and verification process can be conducted until February 20, 2016.
“This process requires careful verification. Once the data have been verified, they could no longer able to be changed. That should be noted, “said Dr. Arry. For schools and students who are suspected of committing fraud, there would be a strict punishment. The school will not be included in next year SNMPTN. As for students, this could revoke his/her admission in SNMPTN.
“Both school and students should support each other,” said Dr. Arry.
SNMPTN online registration will be starting on February 29 until March 12, 2016. Dr. Arry also advised that in selecting study program, student could base his/her choice on his/her interests and abilities, and pay attention to each study program capacity and competitiveness.
“Refer from imposing his or the parents’ ambition,” he said.
SNMPTN participant identification cards printing can be done on March 22 to April 21, 2016. The selection process will be held on 24 March – 8 May 2016. The results of SNMPTN 2016 will be announced on May 10, 2016. The process of verification and/or re-registration in the State University for successful participants is on May 31, 2016 (in conjunction with implementation of a written exam SBMPTN 2016). *
