Unpad brings back the nostalgic Sundanese pop music

[Unpad.ac.id, 23/12/2013] Sundanese pop music reached its peak in the 1960s where numerous singers came up with their masterpieces—Elly Kasim (Peuyeum Bandung), Oslan Husein (Sorangan Wae), dan Ivo Nilakreshna (Ka Huma), Tutty Soebardjo (Anteurkeun) and Pattie Bersaudara (Kapungkur). Some of them were not even Sundanese, but they showed their appreciation for Sundanese music. Some musicians, such as Idris Sardi, Enteng Tanamal, Rudi Rusadi, Band Empat Nda, Band Zainal Combo, showed equal interests and appreciation in the Sundanese pop music by releasing several Sundasene pop music albums.
