[Unpad.ac.id, 07/10/2013] Unpad’s Faculty of Pharmacy Student Executive Body in collaboration with Indonesia Pharmacy Student Senate Association, Priangan Chapter organizes Pharmacy Quiz Contest for vocational school students in West Java. The event was held for two days, on Saturday and Sunday (05-06/10) at the Hall of Building B PPBS and Building D6 Faculty of Pharmacy, Unpad Jatinangor.

There were 25 teams from Pharmacy vocational schools in West Java taking part in the contest. Ivo Ovia, the head of committee, said that the quiz contest was to prepare the students to become the next pharmacists. In addition, the event was also a gathering for the students. She also said that the event was part of a series of activities for the celebration of Faculty of Pharmacy’s 54th anniversary, besides other events including Essay and Writing Competition joined by participants from 12 high schools and Pharmacy vocational schools in West Java, and a talk show named “Know Your World, Reach Your Dream.”
SMK Farmasi Bhakti Sejahtera Jatinangor placed the first for the Quiz Contest with the score 615, and SMK Farmasi Harapan Masa Depok and SMK Farmasi BPK Penabur Bandung came at second and third respectively. Meanwhile, SMK BHS Sumedang and SMK Farmasi Bumi Siliwangi Bandung were the winners for essay competition. For the scientific writing competition, SMA Kristen Gamaliel Bandung and SMKN 7 Bandung excelled among their competitions, and both were given opportunity to present their work on the last day of the competition.
Chairperson of Pharmacy Unpad Student Executive Body, Rizky Pamula expressed his wish that such event would be held annually in order to promote Faculty of Pharmacy Unpad.
