Hosting 400 university students worldwide to take part in a series of events namely Academic Business Plenary, Case Study Workshop, Panel Session, University Day, Career Day, Networking Session, International Night and Entertainment Night, this year’s HPAIR brought a theme on Extending Horizons: Charting Asia’s Flourishing Future, following its success in Taipei in 2012.

Both Nurhidayatulloh and Astiningsih, together with other students from Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Sampoerna School and Universitas Parahyangan, were selected after successfully passing several tight selection stages. They were to meet other students and world leaders to discuss various issues on media, finance, global health, business, security entrepreneurship, and energy. Each issue was discussed in separate panel, led by experts. The panel in which Nurhidayatulloh and Astiningsih took part in were led and supervised by Steven Herman, Bureau Chief, Voice of America.

“This event not only gives us new knowledge but also offers new frame of mind, in addition to give us the opportunity to meet many new friends,” Nurhidayatulloh said.
