Students from Universiti Sains Malaysia Pay a Visit to Unpad

[Unpad.ac.id, 8/04/2013] A group of 30, consisting of students and faculties from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) visited Unpad on Monday (08/04) in order to enhance the good relation that the two institutions have.

They were all welcomed by the director of alumni and student development in Unpad, Hermawan Kemal Mustafa and the head of student administrative bureau, Kiki Pinardi, the head of talent and interest, Benny R. Saerang, and the head of student welfare division, Indrayati, in Bale Rucita, Unpad Rectorate Building in Jatinangor.

Mustafa stated that the visit can be the perfect moment for information sharing on students affairs in both universities and seen as the right medium to enrich the knowledge of the students and faculties.

Unpad established partnership with USM in 2009. Various cooperation programs have been carried out ever since, one of which is student exchange program. The group leader of USM, Rahimah Haji A. Hamid gave similar statement. “We all shall take advantage of this moment. This will surely strengthen our good relationship,” said she.

The event was followed by an open discussion between representatives from Student Executive Board (BEM) of Kema Unpad, BEM FISIP Unpad, and the Student Activity Unit (UKM) Unpad with the student group from USM. *
