FEB Training and Seminar for Human Resource Acceleration in Economics, Business/Management, and Shari’a Accounting

[Unpad.ac.id, 27/12/2012] Unpad Faculty of Economics and Business in collaboration with Economics and Shari’s Business Lecturer Forum (Forderbi) and the International Center for Education in Finance  (INCEIF) Malaysia recently organized Training Islamic Wealth Planning Management at the Aula Magister Manajemen FEB Unpad, in Bandung. The event was attended by 47 participants, most of whom are academicians and practitioners.

Speakers at the seminar together with the vice rector IV Unpad Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Roni Kastaman, MSIE and the dean of FEB Unpad, Nury Effendi, S.E., M.A., Ph.D

The participants received training on Islamic Fund Management and Investment, Islamic Estate Management, Retirement Planning Managing Wealth in Golden Years, Family and General Takaful as a Mean of Protection in Financial Planning and Risk Management, and Zakat and Tax Planning, and the Need for the Prudent Financial Planning from the Prof. Dr. Datuk Syed Othman Al Habshi as the Chief Academic Officer of INCEIF Malaysia.

The training that lasted for ten hours starting from 8 o’clock in the morning was continued with PSEBI and Fordebi gathering in which economic and Islamic business and shari’a accounting could freely interact.

As for the seminar, the event was held on the following day, Thursday (20/12) at the same venue in which representatives from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Bank Indonesia, BMT, and Public Shari’a Bank as well as academicians.

The inspectorate general of the ministry of culture and education Republic of Indonesia gave a keynote speech on the strategic role and policy support for institutions and higher education system for economics and shari’s finance. Approximately 100 participants participated in the event which was supported by Fordebi (Forum Dosen Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam) Bank Indonesia, Perbankan Syariah Indonesia, and PT LEN.*
